Fromage de Chevre 101 — Goat Cheese the French Way

You can have an intimate peak at making goat cheese on the farm with Heleene and Green’s Friendship Acres.  We’re still getting a good amount of milk from our does so we’ll be making cheese and you can sign up to join us on the following dates:

Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 2 p.m. to 3:30

Thursday, Sept. 15 from 2 p.m. to 3:30

Sunday, Sept. 18 from 2p.m. to 3:30

Monday, Sept. 19 from 2 p.m. to 3:30

Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 2 p.m. to 3:30

The cost is $45.  You’ll get a photographic tour of the dairy goat industry in France, make and sample goat cheese and the Russian probiotic Kefir, a drinkable yogurt.  And you’ll get instructions and recipes to take home.
